Brotherhood Ministry

We seek to develop/ enhance our commitment to answer God's call to serve; promote brotherly love and assist in the mission of the church towards building strong, spiritual family environments. 

Sisterhood Ministry

Phyllis Moore, Coordinator 

Mission:

  • To find our place in God's plan by:
  • Loving God- Through worship and praise. (Psalm 95:6)
  • Loving ourselves- Through knowing who are and whose we are. (Psalm 100:3)
  • Loving our Neighbors- Through fellowship, encouragement and support. (2 Cor. 1:4; Phil. 2:1-4)

Children and Youth Ministry

Rachel Hardaway, Director

The Children's Church is a service designed to provide children with a complete worship experience at their level. Christian beliefs, values, and the the word of God are instilled into children in this separate worship environment, which is presented according to their attention span and level of comprehension. Children participate is offered to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Service is on the each second and fourth Sunday in the Chapel beginning at 9:50a.m. September- May.


The Youth Ministry teaches teen in grades 7th through 12th the revealed word of God. It provides an atmosphere for their faith to be nurtured, provides opportunities for Christian fellowship with other believers, helps build moral and ethical character, instills Christian values, and help them to develop intellectually, academically, emotionally, and spiritually. This ministry teaches teens what it means to be an African- American Christian, and to be proud of our heritage, and how to develop personal relationships with senior members.
